Today is 7th of July, japanese 'Tanabata" celebration, the perfect day to show you my new portrait!
Tanabata ( "Evening of the seventh"), is a Japanese festival that begins on July 7. It celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi. According to legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar.
In present-day Japan, people generally celebrate this day by writing wishes, sometimes in the form of poetry, on small pieces of paper, and hanging them, sometimes with other decorations.
